Kristin started E3 when as a school counselor she saw a lack of parent education and parent support systems in place to help parents understand, guide and support their children be successful in life. When parents and children work on common goals success is more likely. In addition, for kids to receive therapy they often had to wait months to see someone. What she found was the what parents and kids often need is someone who supports them, challenges them and walks with them through tough times. She believes all people want to be happy and find a balance in life. E3’s Philosophy of educating, encouraging and empowering parents and children speaks to this need.
Parenting in this day and age presents problems that are new and challenging as our children grow up in the fast paced, competitive, social networking environment that has increased stress and complicated peer relationships. Helping parents learn about what motivates their children, what skills and beliefs they bring to the table, and how this can create success are critical components of Kristin’s approach. She also enjoys working with kids to help them reach their full potential and deal with roadblocks that may get in their way.
“As a consultant it is my job to walk with you to help educate, encourage and empower you to become the person/family you want to be.”
